Fort Verde days' Parade
The annual Fort Verde Days parade will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 10am. Join the fun and create your own float for the parade.
This year’s Parade Theme is “Celebrating our Pioneer Spirit” and our Grand Marshal is local volunteer and community leader, Tony Gioia.
This parade theme allows people to showcase what they, their family, and friends as well as community organizations do for enjoyment here in the Verde Valley.
Decorate your RV, your ATV, or your horse! Gather up your sports team, corn hole league or bowling team and march through Town. Showcase your organization’s community activities on a flatbed trailer. Reminisce about your childhood, things your grandparents did or maybe what future generations might enjoy. The parade kicks off Saturday at 10 am from behind the Basha’s Supermarket on Finnie Flat Rd. It continues up the hill onto Main Street, passing through the center of Town and then out onto General Crook Trail to finish. The parade route is just over a mile.
Parade registration $10 per entry. The Parade will be run by Parks and Recreation staff, so if you have any questions or need anything, please reach out to us at 928-554-0820 ext 3.
