Camp Verde Parks & Recreation is starting the planning process for this year’s Halloween Trunk or Treat on Main Street! This event will be held on Thursday, October 31st from 5-7pm. Main Street will be closed from Nichols Street to Turner Street at 4:30 pm and will open again at approximately 7:15 pm. The closure will allow families to roam safely, trick or treat and have fun at this family friendly event!

This event continues to be very popular with over 5,000 attendees each year. This is due to the participation of many of our Main Street merchants, local businesses, and community groups as well as individuals that help pass out candy and/or donate to help with the purchase of candy. All are welcome to participate, and by completing this form, we can find you a location to join the festivities.

Parks & Recreation will be coordinating the activities. We ask that each group handing out candy check-in with us in front of our office at 395 S. Main St. to pick up your candy and get any last-minute instructions. We would like to encourage businesses and individuals to participate, even if you do not have a business on Main Street, we will have a spot for you! Just a reminder that our candy is to supplement yours!

We are again encouraging participants to go the extra mile with decorations, entertainment, and anything else that would help to improve the family friendly Halloween experience for that night.

This is the chance to use your imagination and add a little bit more and create a great family festival.
